Shauna has been with us for about 4 months now. You can find her at the 5:30pm class paling around (and complaining) with Kris Roll and Tracie Juliano. Shauna, thank you so much for being a part of this community. We could not be more stoked to have you. THANK YOU!

DO YOU HAVE ANY NICKNAMES?

-I do! My mom created “Miss Priss” as a kid and it seems to have stuck. I think more people call me that than I’d like to admit!!

WHERE ARE YOU FROM?

-Born in Williamstown currently in Woolwich Twp

TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOUR FAMILY!

-They’re a group of the most amazing and supportive human beings I could have ever been blessed with. My parents, two brothers, and sister-in-law

are my whole world.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DOING CROSSFIT?

-Sept 1st is my four month mark!

WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO CROSSFIT HIDEOUT?

-I always wanted to do Crossfit but was always so nervous to try it and when I met Tara Lepera, she introduced me and it’s changed my life.

WHAT CLASSES DO YOU USUALLY ATTEND?

-5:30pm

WHAT DO YOU DO OUTSIDE OF CROSSFIT?

-You’ll find me working, hanging out with my friends and family, and loving my dogs️

WHAT IS ONE THING WE MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT YOU?

-A lot of people look at me as a total girly girl but in actuality I have a motorcycle, a shotgun I take to the range, and quads and dirt bikes I ride almost every weekend!

WHAT IS YOUR SPIRIT ANIMAL?

-A lion because they’re a positive representation of courage and personal power. And they’re fierce of course!!

HOW MUCH DO YOU LOVE DANA'S QUOTES OF THE DAY?!

-Would it be an actual day at Crossfit Hideout without them...?

IF YOU COULD PLAN YOUR DREAM VACATION, WHERE WOULD YOU GO ANY WHY?

-I would have to say Greece for a few weeks to explore. It looks like the most beautiful place ever and I have friends from there so I hear nothing but great things!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MEAL?

-Going with the cliché answer of pizza and wings only because I dont treat myself to them as often as I’d like to!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CROSSFIT MOVEMENT?

-Back squats

WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT IN CROSSFIT SO FAR?

-It felt pretty good hitting my PR of 138lbs on my back squat, but many more PRs to come!!!

WHAT IS ONE SHORT TERM GOAL & LONG TERM GOAL? WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO CRUSH THOSE GOALS?

-Short term goal: continue living a healthy lifestyle and continue on with my weight loss journey

-Long term goal: begin my career in law enforcement

-To crush those goals I’m going to stay motivated and get myself out there. Life won’t change without taking a little risks!

WHAT MOTIVATES AND INSPIRES YOU?

-Seeing other people achieve their goals. It makes me feel good seeing others being motivated and inspiring and makes me want to do the same for myself and people around me.

WHAT IS ONE TIP YOU WOULD GIVE SOMEONE NEW TO CROSSFIT HIDEOUT?

-Never give up and to go out and inspire others to take a step out of their comfort zone. I’m glad I did.
